Today I watched one of my favorite sources lay out her work & how Data Republican copied it systematically over time & refused to cite her.
I remember seeing Tore Says posts asking Data Republican “why didn’t you cite me?” over and over. I knew she was THE ONE who infiltrated that training group & captured those videos so that was when I unfollowed Data Republicans for good.
This story is not about glory, fame, or fortune or stealing another’s hard work alone but rather it’s about evidence & the importance of chain of custody in a court of law. As far as social media is concerned, the original source only appears to matter to the lawfully minded, and even some of them are guilty of giving credit to the wrong source.

I cannot believe how many people have cited Data Republicans “work” today.
I have been a lazy researcher at times. I have posted things that I did not verify & been wrong. This is not the same thing.
